Gotye, Military Wives Atop U.K. Charts

Gotye.. ??? who is he..??  i dont know him,, lets see more about him..
here are some quotes from billboard.com

As Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know," featuring Kimbra, started a fifth aggregate week atop the U.K. singles chart, the Military Wives moved to the album summit yesterday, Mothering Sunday, with "In My Dreams."

The group, formed last year by choirmaster Gareth Malone from the wives and girlfriends of British servicemen in Afghanistan, moved 2-1 to take over the top spot from Bruce Springsteen's "Wrecking Ball," which fell to No. 5. "In My Dreams" includes the U.K.'s Christmas No. 1 single "Wherever You Are," which became Britain's fastest-selling charity release since Elton John's "Candle In The Wind 1997." The Wives' album sold 59,000 units last week, according to the Official Chart Company, to add to its opening 56,000.

Emeli Sandé moved back 3-2 with her debut album "Our Version of Events," with 51,000 sales, while its single "Next To Me" fell 2-4. Adele improved 4-3 with Adele's "21," as hotly-tipped newcomer Michael Kiwanuka debuted at No. 4 with "Home Again." Kiwanuka grew up in north London to Ugandan parents and was the winner of the BBC's Sound of 2012 critics' poll.

Ed Sheeran's "+" fell 5-6 and there was a new entry at No. 7 for the self-titled RCA/Sony Music Entertainment debut set by 2011 "X Factor" finalist Marcus Collins. "Gems - The Very Best of Michael Bolton" opened at No. 11. Sony's "Be My Baby," which topped the compilation chart throughout February, moved back for a fifth week at the peak.

The Gotye single has topped the singles survey for four weeks in a row and five in total. It stayed at No. 1 on 71,000 new sales (and an overall total of 636,000) ahead of a 3-2 move for Nicki Minaj's "Starships, with 51,000. Alexandra Burke's "Elephants," featuring Erick Morillo, opened at No. 3 with 42,000 sales; the other new title in the top ten is "N****z In Paris" by Jay-Z and Kanye West, up 18-10. Swedish House Mafia's "Greyhound" debuted at No. 13 and "I Won't Give Up" by Jason Mraz at No. 16.
